- Network Nites - We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month for for informal networking over drinks and complementary hors-d’ouvres.
- Business Luncheon - We meet the 4th Thursday of each month for a networking luncheon with an educational speaker.
Round Rock Express Event Draws a Crowd
The Networking Committee held the first of its kind Chamber Social Event June 12th at the Dell Diamond. The family-friendly event was designed to bring together members, guests, and their families in a more relaxed setting with a focus on relationships. Everyone enjoyed a tailgate party in the parking lot followed by a great baseball game courtesy of the Round Rock Express and the New Orleans Zephyrs. Unfortunately, the Express lost, but it wasn't because of a lack of noise from the NW Austin Chamber section.
The event was sponsored by Texas Lone Star Lending, a longtime Chamber member. The company is a broker for residential and commercial financing. Stacy Bray, the company's Mortgage Broker, actually organized the event and provided a spread that included hamburgers, hot dogs, and very cold beer. Stacy also made a batch of her Texas Caviar, the recipe for which she says is a trade secret.
